Emi Meronk, M.A Clinical Psychology - SUDRC
Emi Meronk, M.A., is a Clinical Psychology professional and a Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor (SUDRC) with extensive experience in various clinical settings. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Chapman University and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School, where she is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.). Emi has worked in residential treatment settings, community health clinics, in-home behavioral health services, and private practice, conducting psychological assessments and psychotherapy. Her clinical expertise spans mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD/trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, personality disorders, and substance abuse, with a particular interest in supporting individuals with chronic illness. She takes a holistic approach to wellness, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques while prioritizing authentic therapeutic relationships. Emi is dedicated to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can grow and heal. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, reading, playing music, and spending time with loved ones. As a group facilitator with Guiding Hands, she values the transformative power of connection and support, believing deeply in the healing process.
